Nad’s Uncovers The Truth Behind Hair Down There!

Nad’s Uncovers The Truth Behind Hair Down There!

And some interesting facts about grooming from the opposite sex

The Brazilian or full bush? Manzilian or just manscaping? To celebrate the next installment of Sex and The City, Nad’s Hair Removal investigated the latest trends in Australia’s ‘below the belt’ grooming habits. So, if you’re planning to head to the bright lights of the city and snag yourself a little bit of fun, you won’t face any hairy situations along the way. Do People prefer Laser Hair Removal over at home hair removal products or shaving?

The jury is out, the majority of men prefer the Brazilian (hair free) when it comes to women’s ‘downstairs’ grooming. In fact, some men even described hair down there as a ‘turnoff’. However, modern women are not giving into the wants of men; the most popular grooming choice for women is a ‘neatly groomed area’.

Contrary to recent rumours that ‘the bush is back’, 85% of women choose to groom their ‘downstairs area’. Of these women, the majority are opting for ‘at home’ solutions to hair removal.

And if you think Australian women are using winter as an excuse to ‘let the grass grow’, you’d be wrong. Over 60% of women ensure their groomed all year round, most sighting partners or ‘unexpected relations’ as the reason for their yearlong regime.

Women are opting for laser hair removal in droves, in fact when asked if they’d laser downstairs and go hair free forever, 60% of women jumped at the idea of never having to groom their downstairs area again.

Interestingly guys are shying away from the below the belt afro too. Downstairs grooming is also the norm for men these days, with 64% of men choosing to primp their area. So why is it that men are turning to manscaping, well it’s not the obvious choice of bigger looking parts that tops the list. The men chose the fact that ‘sex feels better’ as the top reason for grooming.

However, the women of Australia will be pleased to know a partner’s likes and dislikes rates a close second in the reasoning behind grooming choices. One manzilian master says ‘if I expect women to do it, then I should too’.

But while guys are all for deforestation downstairs, you can’t expect to see them chatting hair styles at the pub. 72% of guys won’t discuss downstairs grooming with their mates - ala Sex and the City.

And for guys looking at impress the ladies, it’s time to ditch the gorilla suit. Over half of the women of Australia sited a hairy man as a turnoff with back hair as the biggest male turnoff (over 60%) surprisingly followed by chest hair, with butt hair coming in at third.

Nad's Supports Bruno !

A recent article posted on Australian Women Online has deemed Bruno, the controversial fashion icon, as being right when it comes to men and hair removal.

The article details results from a recent survey we conducted, providing statistics such as, "9 in 10 women find hairy men less attractive" and "out of the 89 per cent of women that find excess body hair a turnoff, 60 per cent cited a hairy back as the biggest no no."

However with men now going to greater lengths to remove hair in the hope of attracting women, is it only fair that women do the same ?

"Out of the two thirds of women who let their hair grow wild in winter, the most common area women let their hair grow was the legs "

Nadine Ismiel , our head of Research and Development has spoken out on the matter saying "I think us ladies should definitely be practicing what we preach by making sure our own bodies are silky smooth before we start hassling our hairy other halves!”
